Mourning the sad loss of Maggy (aka Kimberley)
Sadly, on Tuesday 5th June 2007, Maggy (aka Kimberley) took her own life. Her illness became too much for her to bear.
She will be lovingly remembered for her beauty and kindness. Maggy touched everyone around her.
Arrangements for the funeral:
We’re still waiting for the coroner to let us know when Maggy will be released. We’ll then post details of where the funeral will be held. As of Thursday night it looks like either late Friday 7th or Saturday 8th.
Please check back for updates.

Dear Mike,
I’m really sorry to hear about Maggy.
I prefer to remain anonymous, I found out about your loss thru the Friends Reunited website. My profile isn’t on that site, I dont have the best memories of Mill Hill to be honest (various reasons), but I do remember you were a really nice guy.
I wish you and your family well and I also wish you every success in the future, old boy!
Best regards
An Old Acquaintance
Thanks for your kind words. You can always contact me directly through the Friends Reunited site.

Hi Mike,
Just found out through Friends Reunited about Maggy. Deeply shocked and saddened. You have my deepest sympathy. The last news I heard was that you two had got married. Got the news from Catherine Preece when I went to the Film and Drama reunion back in 2005.
I remember Maggy with great fondness, - a wonderful person and a talented performer. A sharp sense of humour and deep thinker too. I was never aware of her illness.
I wonder, did anyone from Bulmershe attend the funeral? Do Julien Magnat or Lucy Reade know what happened? I’m sure all who knew her at Reading Uni remember her with affection and would be equally upset by this sad loss.
I hope this isn’t inappropriate, but why did she adopt the name, Kimberley Light?
Anyway, my condolences to you, your family and Maggy’s family. I hope you will accept them.
Warren
Hi Warren,
Nice to hear from you.
Nardine, Andy, Tara were there. Benet Simon too. Julien does know. Not sure about Lucy Reade.
Maggy adopted the pseudonym ‘Kimberley Light’ so she could blog about bipolar without everyone connecting her to the illness. Unfortunately Bipolar aka Manic Depression has a really negative stigma attached to it so it helps to be discrete.
But now I think it helps people who knew Maggy to know the truth.
